William Herbert Osbiston and his wife Ruth sat on their gig outside their home on Gravel Pit Lane circa 1950. Photo was kindly shared by their son Herbert William Osbiston who added that his parents used to go out in it most Sundays, and often visiting the Carpenter's Arms in Dale Abbey. He also added that the horse's name was Peter and their dog was called Whisky.
