Back of Moor Street from Gravel Pit Lane

This photo was submitted as "Rear view of lower end of Sitwell Street when land farmed by Dick Dedman -  his farmyard on left.  View from A52 before Ayr Close built on land."  However, Dave Trigg has doubts about this:

I don’t think that this is the back of Sitwell Street/Dick Deadman’s farm from the A52.

When the by-pass was built there was a Hawthorn hedge all the way along from the Church to the back of Willowcroft House. This is still there. Also there was a grass verge between the road and the footpath, which is still there.

I believe that the view shown here is of the back of Moor Street from Gravel Pit Lane before Wingerworth Park Road was built.
Just above the greenhouses, right of centre is the large house at the bottom of Gladstone, to the right of that is the front roof of the Liberal Club; on the far left is the large house on Sitwell Street
Opposite Joey's Panchion. The backs of 3 & 5 Moor Street and Barnes’s farm are in the centre front.
