Who can remember the pig sty at the top end of the row of cottages? We used to throw the pigs all sorts of greenery that we could get whilst walking down from Springy. If the owner caught us then it was a clip, or more, around the ear, depending on how fast we ran to get away.

Yes I remember the pig sty owned by The Whitemans I think. It was brill growing up round there. only live at no 19 Hall Dyke. Attendend Springfield from 1952/56 and Spondon House from 1956/1960.
