Shield shaped enamelled metal pin badge in dark blue enamel with white Maltese Cross from Spondon House Central School, size approx. 1"x 1¼". The badge features the school motto 'INGREDERE UT PROFICIAS' (which translates as 'Enter Here to Benefit') together the school initials SHCS. Pin on back missing but still has three point fastenings present. Manufactured by Thomas Fattorini, Regent Street, Birmingham and dates from between 1929 and 1946.
