Celanese Sports Club, Inter Departmental Cricket Challenge Shield played for from the 1930s to the 1990s. This was saved from the skip when Celanese was being demolished and donated to Spondon Cricket Club for safekeeping . It is now displayed alongside other memorabilia on the lounge wall of the cricket pavilion located at their Locko Road ground.
