Spondon Aflame celebrations, 1990

Celebrations, including a parade and medieval market, were held in Potter Street on Easter Monday, 1990, to commemorate the 650th anniversary of the fire of Spondon in 1340. The celebrations were named "Spondon Aflame" and several other commemorative events have taken place since under the same name.
